that was an interesting article. have you ever been to nauvoo (sp?) in IL? they have the most beautiful statues of pioneer families there-- really lifelike.
My grandfather was the director of the Nauvoo Visitors' Center in the mid-1990's so I visited him there a few times; it is one of my favorite places in the US. There is something serene and beautiful about it and so much history and sacrifice was made there.
ahhhh, so you DO know what I am talking aobut. I was just a teenager when we went (we lived in Bloomington, IL at the time), so it has been a while. But I remember those beautiful statues of the moms/ dads & kids-- so beautiful. I would love to go back there again sometime..
I just posted the two previous post from emails between me and cmhl (the last one is actually cmhl talking, not me)--Mols, I was gonna say that I think my bro (the one that's getting amrried in Dec) served around Bloomington on his mission 1998-2000 (he went to Chicago area Spanish speaking). Hmm.
