This is how Grandpa looked when I was a little girl (this photo was taken in May 1973).I never realized how young Grandpa & Grandma were, but I am sure glad I've has so many years to enjoy them! Happy Birthday, Grandpa! We're so glad you were born!

Wow that is a great pic of Grandma and Grandpa. Isn't is funny to think that our kids will have a totally different perception of our grandparents than us? My own grandma is getting older in years and is pretty disabled now but that is not how I remember her. Even though I see her pretty often the image that comes to mind when I think of her is a young fun grandma (and she still is at heart) but thats not the grandma my kids will know.
