This is my lonely workstation in my home office, where the Livingston Ward Liahona is created and Life in a Northern Town is maintained... This is me telling you:
"I refuse to post anymore until I get some comments."
It's like talking to a wall....and I even took off word verification, folks...come on.
(Okay...I WILL post just one more funny little thing...this photo of my girls on the carousel last Saturday, in which Addie seems to have gone mad and Heidi is saying "Heil Mommy!")PS: Last night, we happened upon a Documentary Channel presentation of "Stoked: The Rise and Fall of Gator" which features girls I went to high school with but didn't know, one of whom was killed by Gator Rogowski, the skater probably most famous for his appearance (with his Tucson girlfriend, Brandi) in Tom Petty's "Free Fallin'"video. It was a fun little walk down memory lane (well, not the Gator-becoming-a-murderer part) to hot days on the half pipe and cool nights on the Bank banks on the west side, when Tony Hawk weighed about 101 pounds and starred in a Mountain Dew commercial with Lance Mountain, Itchy Foot Moe's, Willy's Pocatello Mall half ramps and that one poser dude in the hills who had a lighted half pipe in his back yard...what a funny little subculture....

If you go on strike...who will I read everyday????
I post comments, dont punish everyone because of some people forgetfulness. I love you maj..
Itchy foot moes....I remember that, and all of willy's skater buddies in pocatello. His friend Ty talked me into trying to drop on one of those tiny ramps and then laughed when I fell and bruised my tailbone. Ahhh the good old days.
oh... Itchy foot Moes.... i remeber Ely who worked there and gave me a Sims skateboard because i cought a sticker during the " catch a sticker game" do you remember the big cage that had all the roken skateboards stacked in it? how about the video game Skate or DIE? thanks for the memmories!!
Matt
Matt, I totally remember Eli. We were friends. Do you remember his speed metal band, Dover Trench? Itchy Foot Moe's was owned by the same dude who owned Pant Warehouse--my friends Jennifer's Uncle, and he wanted me to work at Itchy Foot Moe's but (I think) Eli didn't think I was hardcore enough. Heh, heh. And look! I'm not on strike becaue I am getting comments!
Aren't you the cutest girl ever!!
Oh, and keep writing.
Here is another comment for you!
(I love Georgia and your glasses.)
Me again.
I love Justine too.
I'm here, sort of :)
We are going to Fairfield tomorrow to have Josie blessed on Sunday. I'll be in Great Falls/Helena for the first part of next week. If we find time, maybe we can swing past your part of the state :) I'm sure all the girls would be instant friends
I'm really not on strike anymore! Laura & Matt, thanks for your SK8-or DIE memories...it's good to know that we rubbed off on you somehow. Justine & CJane...well, now I feel super special! Y'all ahve been linked here to me through Segullah via the "My Kindred Spirits" link, but I am excited to go back and check out your personal blogs (well, CJane, I've been reading yours for a while--Justine, I peeked at yours. I like to read a blog like a book and go back a ways so I get a feel for the narrative in a person's life. It's great fun for me!) I am really looking forward to meeting you in person soon! Julie, I left a comment on YOUR blog saying that you SIMPLY MUST come over and visit us (if you can tear that darling baby away from her extended fam, that is!) Love to all y'all! XOXO
You're cute when you're mad.
