I'm going with Katherine McPhee. She has got the pipes and the looks. I watch Idol just to see her. She reminds me of Page when she was that age.... and you know how I'm ga-ga over Page, so gotta go with Kat.
I'm confident that even if Taylor doesn't win he'll still be putting out an album sometime in the future. I'd buy it! And I couldn't agree more about yucky Melissa and Kevin. Go home!
It's late Wed. night and needless to say, I am thrilled. There is a God and He's just and merciful. Good Riddance Melissa. But WHAT is up with Ace & Lisa in the bottom three? Um, no. I wish there was a "vote against" toll-free number where you could actually cancel out other people's pro-votes cuz my new mission is to send Kev & Bucky home, as sweet as they are. And may I jsut say how excited I was by the commercial using the TWS song? Chris did it justice! I forgot how much I love TWS and how my last concert before my mission in 1992 was Toad the Wet Sprocket and The Origin. Yep...memories.
PS: Mike, I can totally see how Katharine reminds you of Page--she is the total package and I love hearing her sing. I reeeeeally miss Page everytime I have to direct choir, like tonight--ugh! But it's coming together--they actually gave me chills tonight.
Ace and Lisa were not going to win Idol anyway, but still surprised to see them on the chopping block before Kev and Bucky. Melissa better be gone too.
You are serious about this performance- Wed. night rehersals? Good for you! If they gave you chills tonight, wait until they actually perform. Better wear a jacket...
I predicted Kevin would be gone by now. His novelty has worn off and when it's all said and done he doesn't have the pipes to stay in the competition. I think Melissa got slammed so hard for forgetting her lyrics, but it was Bucky that was the real embarrassment -- saying he didn't know any Stevie Wonder songs. What rural bubble has he been living in?
Can Ace please wear something besides those jeans with the shirt tucked in that make him look like Rectangle Man? He's delightful--the next Justin Timberlake--but the stylists gotta git their hands on him! I like Taylor's less-caesar hairstyle, but he's gotta keep the gray!
