Hey Jaimie - Lurker Leah here (Matt and Amie's friend). I have to chime in and say CONGRATS on your sweet baby James. (just like the song...love it)And please tell me where that ranch beach is at. I must know. I have always joked around and said that my dream house is a ranch over looking the beach! I didn't know it existed! Whenever you get a second please tell me. The water was apparently not that cold, but everyone thought canoes would be fun this year. It was a cool day, and we didn't get any tubes inflated, so we just took canoes and a raft for the little girls. Leah, that ranch with a beach is ou rlittle Melin family place on the Yellowstone River in Paradise Valley, Montana. It's about 13 miles south of Livingston, 30 miles north of the north gate to Yellowstone Park. We LOVE to float the river and have a bonfire and dutch oven dinners there. We bought it three years ago and have been trying to clean it up and get ready to build a little lodge there...I can't wait to finish and have Christmas at the ranch in the cabin! If you ever have a Yellowstone vacation, come see us!
