Meet Elna Baker. She's my new favorite Mormon.
(I heard her on This American Life on Saturday and she killed me with her tale of working at FAO Schwartz selling baby dolls...can't wait til her book comes out next year!)

She's got a really cute site. I had fun looking through it. Thanks for sharing!

PS I hope James isn't freezing without his coat. I am mailing stuff in the morning. I love you!

I heard that whole story on NPR the other day and haven't stopped thinking about the weirdness of it all- I didn't realize she was LDS. She's such an awesome writer.

Oh, and we have a "whiter" selection online, in case you are wondering.

Dave and I heard this over the weekend too and LOVED it! She's hilarious. The program said she performed her stories on NYC stages. We'd love to hear her sometime...

Ok, honesty time. No big deal. I bought them for Mara. Well, Jason was uncomfortable. Don't ask ME why. He went to a different store and exchanged them for white ones. We still give him a hard time for that one.
