I just got off the phone with my friend Celeste who, due to the wacky AZ closed Primaries cannot vote for her favorite candidate, Mitt Romney.
We talked for a while and she has convinced me to use my Super-Tuesday vote for Romney. I do admit it would be more of a vote against McCain (and you can bet all my votes from now on will be against McCain and Clinton), although I have nothing against Romney. I was listening to Limbaugh while I was doing errands, listening to McCain's record ("a guy who runs on the right and legislates on the left") (and a funny little song to the tune of the CCR song, "Who'll Stop McCain?") and it suddenly occured to me--"Holy crap! It's already down to Clinton, Obama, McCain, and Romney! How did that happen so fast?" Seriously!? I thought about how much McCain has let us down this past decade and I just thought to myself, "I have to keep him out!" Of course, I don't really know how things work here in Montana--Super Tuesday here is just some kind of Caucus prefernce thing and I don't know if it even counts for anything at the convention, but IF I were voting and IF it counted, I would vote for Romney tomorrow.
But I LOVE Ron Paul. I really do. Ron, this isn't about you, it's about McCain. Please don't hold it against me.
So, my peeps, I IMPLORE YOU to get out and vote tomorrow. It's what we need to do to exercise our God-given agency and our hard-won rights. And I won't even tell you who to vote for. Cuz that's how I roll...
(...but I will tell you to vote AGAINST McCain and Clinton!!!!!! :))

Apparently you can;t vote tomorrow for a Republican unless you are registered aa Republican. Not just a registered voter. I am not sure if I am specified but Sue and Brent are not. They are not sure why they aren't but it's kinda screwy. I totally agree with you on McCain. After I posted about McCain winning a couple weeks ago I read up a lot and even linked a conversation on Glen Becks show. I am soooo bugged with him. Its totally down to the 4. I don't think Huckabee has a chance.
Just so your friend knows--it's not to late to vote Republican if you're a registered independent in AZ. I changed to Republican (so I could vote for Ron, of course) after the deadline, but they let you print out a voucher that says you can ask for a provisional ballot.
I have never voted in a Presidential election before and am so excited for tomorrow. The only thing is I have to make a decision. For me it comes down between Obama and Romney. It's going to be an exciting time : )
Well the powers that be have been successful in branding Paul a nut. Don't you get the feeling all of these is being manipulated? I know I'm cynical! Well I am supported Romney big time, as you probably could tell from my blog. However, I am feeling less confident about his ability to win this thing. I don't know what to do if it is a McCain - Clinton match up in November. I will probably have to take a closer look at the libertarian candidate. Wyoming already did the caucus thingy and I wasnt sure how it all worked either but WY went with Romney. Pollsters are saying MT will go Romney too. I called all my family in southern CA to encourage them to vote Romney tomorrow (well later on today). They were all planning on it. The conservative rally may have started a little too late to stop McCain, but you never know.
