Hi Lisa!
You can bless your baby when ever, where ever you want, you just need some paper work from your bishopric and the ward within whose boundaries you are blessing the baby. We do it frequently in our family because there are so many people coming from so many directions and it could be quite dispruptive to an otherwise sacred ordinance/meeting (sacrament). We blessed Addie at my Auntie's house, but the other two were much more low-key, in our regular meeting.
james, you are so blessed to have such a wonderful family. i love the picture of everyone who participated in the blessing..how wonderful to have so many worthy priesthood holders in a family. glad you are having a great trip!
