Back in the Saddle

We made it! 2,000 miles and lots of sun, big gulps, freeways, and FUN! We got home at 8pm last night, unloaded (that took 2 hours), and went to bed. I still have tons to do today, but pictures and stories are coming soon. Here are Addie and Heidi modeling their mouse ears and some of our booty from Ikea.

Looks like you finally scored some very nice looking IKEA sofas. Did you take a u-Haul back or what to get those things home? The IKEA in Atlanta is sold out of almost everything right now furniture wise due to the massive crowds. Those couches look great.

Brooks: we have a little 4x8' trailer that really comes in handy! I think people should be opening more IKEAs because very single one i go to is swamped! For the life of me I don't know why Slat Lake City doesn't have one, as people there are so into home furnishings and kid-proof stuff. It would go gang busters! You gotta love a sofa that's less than $200 AND you can change the covers when it gets dirty! It's perfect while you have little kids--save the nice Thomasville for 20 years from now! We are replacing the metal legs with wood ones so the couches look more cozy. Fun times...
