It Feels Like Years Since it's Been Here
It's 4:48pm and I just noticed...it's still light outside. The equinox is coming and I am rejoicing in song:
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
And I say
It's alright
Little darling
It's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling
It feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
And I say
It's alright
Little darling
The smiles returning to the faces
Little darling
It seems like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
And I say
It's alright
Sun, sun, sun, here it comes!!!

That song is beautiful! I was actually thinking today that it felt like spring and it was still light outside close to 6. I am so looking forward to taking the kids out a lot and letting them play at the park this spring and summer. We have been cooped up in the house for too long!
great song- I sing out loud everyting I hear it. Why do you do that? Put up such a beautiful picture and make me long for the wilds of Montana (Livingston/Paradise Valley the wilds?... well compared to Lufkin it is). We gotta get that plan to come back for a vist real soon.
everyting? (no, thats not a southern accent) I meant everytime...
oh for the love of chocolate eclairs.... is that even Livingston in the pic? There are a few steeples in that pic that I don't recognize.... here I am getting all homesick over something that may not even be Livingston. So what is the pic of?
beautiful picture, beautiful song. our weather down south isn't cold right now, but extremely crappy wet and gross. it's nice to see this picture along with one of my favorite Beatles songs. congrats on the new nephew -- very cute!
The picture is of Switzerland and I googled it; gotcha! Actually I was looking for something warm-looking but still Livingston-esque--this was the best I could find, but it captured the moment beautifully. It's okay--it was meant to make you homesick for Paradise Valley!
