While driving away from Couer d'Alene, my radio station faded into another and to my horror I heard this country cover of one of my all-time favorite songs, the namesake of this blog, the Dream Academy masterpiece. However, when I arrived home and googled the cover, I decided to forgive Sugarland because (a)who can resist covering such an awesome song? and (b) even the country cover gave me chills. Those are two gorgeous songs that bring me chills. I thought the country version was quite good. Even the video was intriguing. Thanks for the memories. It brings me back to all my mixed cd's you made me and growing up.

I'm not big into Sugarland, but I'm down with our parallel universe of '80s music love. I've been to Couer d'Alene a few times on my way to and from Missoula from Spokane. It's beautiful country there.
