So...I am TOTALLY jealous! But I can say that I have at least been to London and to Edinburgh! So what will you be doing in London? I remember going to see Westminster Abby, the changing of the guard, the Ryoal family jewels....Madame Tussauds wax museum (that was a hoot) oh, yeah I also saw the play of EVITA.Piccadilly Circus was cool, too. We went shopping and ate yummy food! Edinburgh was my fav! We went to the Military Tattoo. It was awesome! I loved all the castles and the wild heather grows like no tomorrow..making for beautifully colored hills! I even saw the lake of the Loch Ness monster!!! Have fun!
Jamie, You do not know me but I have been reading your blogSSS and feel that I sort of know the of the good woman you are! I noticed you posted Elder Busche video which we too have listened to many times since a daughter (Shelle)of a dear friend of mine posted. Then I noticed you had posted it also... I thought that was interesting. I was reading the comments in our son's and the love of his life Jamie's (The midwife in Butte)blog, I noticed your name being the same as hers and living in Montana. These kids are such romantics and for a good reason. They are a wonderful couple and we couldn't be more pleased they found each other. It is too bad the timing hasn't been right and they have to be separated so much... Well today, I was reading the comments in the blog of another daughter ( Stacy & Ric) of this good friend and there a Jamie from Arizona living in Montana left her a comment and I clicked on it and it was you again! Stacy's mom was at our home last night and I hadn't seen her in over 38 years. It is a small world and I want to thank you & tell I enjoy what you write in your blogs to further the gosple through our the world. I enjoy your Franisco...? blog and have it in my links and find it very informative & educational. Thank you for providing it! We pray good things for your mom. Cher Did any of this make sense? It is the first connection in blogland I ahve found.
Years ago, I read a travel article in the Washington Post written by a dad who had just returned from a vacation where he and his family and two kids sailed through the Scottish canal system in narrowboats while listening to Harry Potter audiobooks. Ever since, I have dreamed about doing this. I think it will happen in 2010. http://www.ukboathire.com/welcome_aboard.htm
When do you leave? (Did it say that?) That's SOOO awesome of you guys. We've done quite a bit of travelling and hope to do more. We've done much of Europe but Scotland we've missed. For now. Keep us posted.
I am green with envy and so happy for you!!! I loved living in Germany as a kid and I can't wait to go there with B. Have a blast for us, can't wait to read about it!!!
