Another Heidism

Monday night, Heidi laying on our bedroom floor (I have banned her from the bed)

Heidi: Chinese kids say 'moshakomaguchi' when they have bad dreams. Know what that means?
Me: (groggily) No, what?
Heidi: It means 'Lay by me.'
Me: Hmmm, where did you learn that?
Heidi: In Spanish class.

You gotta love it!!! She is a crack up, that's like Leanne on the plane: Tap Tap on my arm and then "Mom, I have issues with the noises under the plane" then one minute later, tap tap again, "Mom, what are issues?" Kids say the funniest things!!!

Very funny, you gotta love kids.
To stray from the common subject of the humor; we had to banish Brittany from our bed when she was a similar age (being kicked frequently in the middle of the night is not generally recommended for a good night's sleep). It worked great! We would put her to bed in her own bed but when she woke up during the middle of the night she dragged her pillow and blankie into our room to finish off the night. She slept fine and we slept fine! I'm sorry to say, I didn't get any Japanese lessons in the bargain. :)
