I had my thyroid removed early Friday morning. I did pretty well in the hospital and came home yesterday, but I feel way worse than I thought I would at this point. Rich and Jill are taking good care of me, but I am sore and loopy.
Even though my doctors said it isn't true, I totally believe that the after-effects of anesthesia stay in your body and make it feel "off" for several weeks. This is why you usually don't get any hospital bills for at least a month after your surgery. LOL. I hope you feel better quickly and your body adjusts like a pro.
